HISTORICAL NOTE
How does the FRISBEE come to Italy?
The frisbee spread in Italy in the early seventies by emulation, together with many other aspects of the American youth culture “alternative”. In 1972 a trip to California inspires Valentino De Chiara that on his return to Italy begins to disseminate this discipline through national tours that touch the main cities and places of the sea.
In 1977 the birth of A. I. F (Italian Frisbee Association), an organ that promotes the growth of this sport in Italy.
